The Glumshroom Staff is a Hardmodesummon weapon that is dropped from Magic Toadstools and Glow Toads during the Blue Moon event. It summons a stationary Gloomgus Mushroom that stands on the ground and can explode itself on contact with an enemy. Unlike most minions, only two Gloomgus Mushrooms can be active at a time, summoning a third will cause the first to disappear, even if the player has minion bonuses.
Its best Modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Glumshroom Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
