Scarabeus does not spawn on its own and requires the player to summon it with an [[Scarab Idol]] which can be crafted or can be found in the Ancient Ziggurat structure in the Desert.
 
 
== Behavior ==
 
Scarabeus will walk like a bug and fly during certain attacks, it can rain sand balls on the player or shoot sand balls in the air, it can also go underground temporarily to try and pop up and hit the player. In phase 2, it will summon a sandstorm, albeit this effect is purely visual. He begins to fly much more often and has a new attack. In Expert Mode, his movement speed is increased. If the player exits the Desert, Scarabeus will enrage, and will take 1 damage from all attacks. Note: Scarabeus will not do contact damage unless ramming the player or doing attacks that are clearly melee.
