The Flame of the Magus is a craftable Hardmode accessory. While equipped, it gives the effects of all of the accessories used in its crafting recipe, some of the effects being improved from the original versions.

  • +1 defense
  • +7% magic damage
  • +10% magic critical strike chance
  • -6% mana costs
  • +50 maximum mana
  • Increased mana regeneration
  • Makes the player emit blue light at all times
  • Magic attacks have a 14.29% (1:7) chance of releasing an Angelic Spark that deals more damage the more mana the player is missing
  • Magic critical strikes have a 33.33% (1:3) chance of dealing an extra hit for 40 damage
  • Magic projectiles have a 14.29% (1:7) chance of freezing enemies hit, reducing their movement speed by 20%
