Bosses

The Spirit Mod adds 10 new bosses to the game; 4 are fought pre-Hardmode, 5 are fought in Hardmode, and 1 is fought post-Moon Lord.

In Expert Mode, these bosses have more health and deal more damage. They also drop Treasure Bags, containing unique, Expert Mode-exclusive items.

Pre-Hardmode[edit | edit source]

Scarabeus is an armored scarab with 1,500 health (2,250 in Expert Mode. It tries to jump on you, and summons Scarabs to attack you. It can be summoned with a Scarab Idol anywhere, at any time.

Vinewrath Bane is an large vine-clad monstrosity with 5,300 health (8,800 health in Expert Mode) split over both forms. It fires nature-like projectiles at the player. It has 3,200 health (5,440 in Expert Mode) in its first phase, and 2,100 health (3,360 in Expert Mode) in its second phase. It can be summoned with a Bramble Tooth in the Reach biome, at daytime.

The Ancient Flier is a large skeletal harpy with 2,800 health (5,600 in Expert Mode). It flies above the player and fires projectiles at the player, and occasionally summons Bone Harpies to also attack the player. It can be summoned with a Jewel Crown anywhere, at any time.

The Starplate Raider is a large galactic worm with 6,700 health (8,040 in Expert Mode). It fires electricity-themed projectiles at the player. It has 6,700 health (8,040 in Expert Mode). It can be summoned with a Starplate Beacon anywhere, at night.

Hardmode[edit | edit source]

Infernon[edit | edit source]

Infernon is a large infernal demon with 13,000 health (26,000 in Expert Mode) He is summoned by using a Pain Caller in The Underworld. Throughout the fight he flies above the player, rarely swooping down and firing projectiles. After half of its health, it summons the Infernus Skull. It then continues firing a variety of projectiles.

Infernon drops weapons themed around fire and the underworld, as well as Torment Shards, which can be used to craft other items. It drops the Fiery Lash in Expert Mode, which causes enemies to be inflicted with On Fire! when you walk past them.

The Dusking is a enormous nightmarish skull with 21,000 health (42,000 in Expert Mode). It attacks by moving towards the player while flinging many projectiles at them, including a minion, the Shadowflamer. He can be summoned with a Dusk Crown anywhere, at night.

Ethereal Umbra[edit | edit source]

The Ethereal Umbra is a large spiritual wisp with 4,100 health (5,329 in Expert Mode). It is, in terms of health, the weakest Hardmode boss. it is summoned in the Spirit Biome using a Eerie Wisp. It floats around invunerably and stays like this until it's Shadow Guardians are killed. It fires Soul Curves at the player, and additionally it fires Spirit Arrows down at you every 3 to 5 seconds.

The Ethereal Umbra drops weapons themed around wisps, and Spirit and Stellar Bars. It drops the Animus Lens in Expert Mode.

Illuminant Master[edit | edit source]

The Illuminant Master is an enormous hallowed mage with 32,000 health (64,000 in Expert Mode). It attacks the player with lasers and other projectiles. It can be summoned with a Chaos Fire anywhere, at night.

Atlas is a colossal rocky creature with 41,000 health (69,700 in Expert Mode). It shoots projectiles and summons Cobbled Eyes as its health depletes. It can be summoned with a Stone Fist anywhere, at any time.

Post-Moon Lord[edit | edit source]

Overseer[edit | edit source]

The Overseer is an enormous amalgamation of spirits with 179,000 health (358,000 health) and is regarded as the most difficult boss in the Spirit Mod. It is summoned in the Spirit Biome at nighttime with the Spirit Idol.

Upon spawning, the Overseer starts charging at the player while shooting an abundance of projectiles. Among these are Spirit Portals, which the Overseer teleports into a few seconds after they spawn, Core Shards, a projectile that merely float around, Haunting Wisps, a homing version of the Core Shards which chase after the player, after this, when the message: BEHOLD MY TRUE POWER pops up in the chat, the Spirit Portals change into Spirit Gateways which the Overseer summons Captive Spirits out of.

The Overseer drops spirit-themed weapons and crafting materials, along with the Eternity Charm accessory in Expert Mode, which summons a group of Soul Shards when you are hit.

Mini Bosses[edit | edit source]

Glade Wraith[edit | edit source]

Glade Wraith is a overgrown wraith that is summoned when a rune in The Grove is broken, it will summon three overgrown zombies to attack the player and surround itself in damaging energy. It drops Oak Heart, an infinite throwing knife that counts as both throwing and melee damage, and Sacred Vine, which makes the Oak Heart have poison based attacks as well.

Flesh Golem[edit | edit source]

The Flesh Golem is a fleshy golem that walks toward the player, fires spreads of Bloodfire projectiles which inflict the Blood Corruption debuff. It also summons Deadeye Marksmen. It spawns occasionally during Blood Moons, after the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu has been defeated. It has 500 health (1,000 in Expert Mode), and cannot be summoned manually.

Blood Gazer[edit | edit source]

The Blood Gazer is a bloody, eye-clad mini-boss that flies toward the player. When defeated, it summons the True Blood Gazer, which moves faster. It spawns occasionally during Blood Moons in Hardmode. Its first form has 4,000 health (8,000 in Expert Mode) and the True Blood Gazer has 1,500 health (3,000 in Expert Mode). It cannot be summoned manually.

R'lyheian[edit | edit source]

The R’lyheian is a purple tidal spirit with 2,800 health (5,600 in Expert Mode). It flies and fires a multitude of projectiles. It spawns occasionally during The Tide in Hardmode. It has 2,800 health (5,600 in Expert Mode) and cannot be summoned manually.

Jabberwocky[edit | edit source]

The Jabberwocky is a spiritual wyvern-esque miniboss that spawns during the Blue Moon event. It looks and acts similar to a Wyvern; charges into the player, and loops in mid-air after ramming through the player. It will also shoot a multitude of blue projectiles. It has 5,000 health (10,000 in Expert Mode) and cannot be summoned manually.

Lavavent Elemental[edit | edit source]

The Lavavent Elemental is a steamy spirit that flies and fires a multitude of projectiles. It spawns occasionally during The Tide after at least one of the Mechanical Bosses has been defeated. It has 7,000 health (14,000 in Expert Mode) and cannot be summoned manually.

Snow Monger[edit | edit source]

The Snow Monger is a enormous robotic miniboss controlled by a Snowman that spawns during the Frost Legion. It floats towards the player, shooting ice blasts, snowballs and ice beams, as well as summoning Snowman Gangstas. It has 4500 health (9000 in Expert Mode) and cannot be summoned manually.
