Bismite armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Bismite Crystals. It takes a total of 23 Bismite Crystals to craft a full suit.
It consists of a Bismite Helmet, Bismite Chestplate, and Bismite Leggings.
The Bismite Helmet gives 3 defense and 4% increased movement speed; the Bismite Chestplate gives 3 defense and 4% increased damage and critical strike chance; and the Bismite Leggings gives 2 defense and 6% increased movement speed.
A full set provides a total of 8 defense, 4% increased damage and critical strike chance, and 10% increased movement speed. Its set bonus grants the player Virulence; after 10 seconds to fully charge, and striking an enemy after creates a toxic explosion, dealing a base of 25 damage and inflicting the Poisoned debuff. If the player takes damage at any time, however, then they release a weaker explosion that only deals a base of 15 damage. In both cases, the player is inflicted with the Virulent Suppression debuff. preventing any Virulence from building up or being released for 2 seconds.
